BREAKING: Adeleke floors Oyebamiji as light shines in Osun | adekkatv

The Election which took place in Osun State on 15th of August 2026, the incumbent Governor of Accord Party, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke popularly Known as Imole (Light) won over Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly Known as AMBO.


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the announcement early this morning, 16th of August, 2026 as follows through Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole as follows;


Accord Party polled 511, 067


APC polled 444, 815


ADC polled 17, 180

Total Valid Votes 985, 079

Rejected Votes 20721

Total Vote Castle 1, 005800

Jubilation have commenced in Osogbo, the State Capital, Ede and other part of the State. 

In an interview with some of the staffs of Uniosun Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, the workers were very happy with the outcome of the Election, one of the workers (name withheld) stated that, despite the Federal Power, despite all the intimidation and killings prior to the Election, People's will have come to past, Imole have shine over darkness.


Sade, Adekkatv correspondence who visited part of Iwo, Awo and Ede see people rejoicing on the streets with the slang of Omo Balogun, ma ba ise rere lo which means, Balogun Son, continue which your good work.


Adeola, a correspondence of adekkatv who visited Okua, Okuku, Inisa, Illa, Oriade see people jubilating, giving free foods in celebration of Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke re-election.

Just In: Kidnapped Oriire pupils, teachers rescued

  The pupils and teachers in Oriire in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, have finally regained their freedom. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser, Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, made the announcement of the development on X on Friday.   The Federal Government has declared Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, 2026, as public holidays to mark the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, which signifies the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government.
