TRIBUTE TO A PILLAR OF COMMUNITY SERVICE: CHIEF DR. AMOS ADEPOJU | adekkatv
By Ayandeji Banji
Baba, the news of your passing today pierced my heart deeply, yet it also reminded me of the beauty of a life lived with purpose, dignity, and impact. The last time I saw you in April remains fresh in my memory, your calm words, warm smile, and the gentle but firm way you always encouraged us to live meaningfully.
You were a symbol of hope, resilience, and community spirit. Through your dedication, you taught us that greatness is not measured by wealth or titles, but by service, sacrifice, and the lives we touch. Igboora will forever remember your footprints, the schools, the institutions, the opportunities you championed. Your legacy will continue to speak for generations yet unborn.
You have shown us the essence of life’s question: “What will people say of you when you are gone?” Your answer is written boldly in the hearts of your family, in the history of Igboora, and in the progress of countless people who found light because you chose to serve.
I am inspired, not only by your achievements but by your humility and compassion. You lived as a true Asiwaju, leading from the front, yet lifting others as you climbed.
Though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate you. Your journey on earth may have ended, but your spirit, teachings, and impact will never fade. Thank you, Baba, for the love, the guidance, and the legacy.
May God comfort and strengthen the family you left behind. May He uphold Mummy and give her peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for Hon. Dr. Adebayo Anthony Adepoju, our honorable representative of Ibarapa Central and North Federal Constituency, that the Lord will grant him the wisdom, strength, and grace to continue walking in your footsteps of service and integrity.
May the entire Adepoju family be surrounded with divine love, unity, and consolation, and may your legacy inspire them to keep shining.
Rest well, Baba. You have fought a good fight, finished your course, and left us an eternal example to follow.
