The Ayandeji Family condole with the family of Adeojo on the passing away of Chief Yekeen Adeojo early morning of today.
In a letter signed by Engr. Banji Ayandeji for Ayandeji Family, he described Adeojo as a philanthropist who is one of the pillars for the masses, the letter goes thus;
" Today, we mourn the loss of an irreplaceable soul, Chief Yekeen Adeojo a revered chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a man whose life was defined by service, generosity, wisdom, and leadership. A true father figure, a philanthropist without borders, and a political icon whose legacy will live on for generations.
" He was not only a beacon of hope for the underprivileged but also a strong pillar in Nigeria’s political landscape. As the father of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, he played a pivotal role in shaping its values and direction, laying the groundwork for unity, progress, and development. His influence extended far beyond the borders of the state—he was a respected voice on the national stage, a bridge-builder, and a mentor to countless leaders and aspiring politicians across Nigeria.
" His philanthropy knew no tribe, religion, or class. He gave freely, loved deeply, and served selflessly. Schools, hospitals, scholarships, and social initiatives all bear witness to the legacy of a man who truly believed that humanity is our greatest cause.
" To me and many others, he was more than a public figure. He was a personal inspiration. A man whose life lessons shaped my values, whose counsel brought clarity, and whose unwavering faith in people reminded us all of what true leadership looks like: service over self.
" Though his physical presence has left us, his legacy will forever echo in the lives he touched, the political structures he strengthened, and the future he helped build.
" Rest in peace, Baba. You have done your part. Your name, your work, and your heart will never be forgotten.
With eternal respect, love, and gratitude", he concluded.
