JUST IN: Ondo loses SSG | adekkatv

Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Tayo Oluwatuyi, has died few weeks after surviving an auto crash. 


Oluwatuyi, popularly known as ‘Tukana, was said to have been receiving treatment in a hospital Akure before he died.


As at the time of this report, Ondo State Government is yet to make an official statement on the incident but a source confirmed the death.

JUST IN: FG declares public holidays for Eld El Fitr | adekkatv

  By Bolarinwa Kabir The Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31 and Tuesday April 1 public holidays for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior,  made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government. He congratulated Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. Tunji-Ojo urged all Muslims to embrace the virtues of self-discipline, compassion, generosity and peace, emphasising the importance of love, forgiveness, and solidarity in building a harmonious society. In a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani, the Minister called on Nigerians to use this festive period to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity of the nation.
