Advancing Professional Standards: Osun YMLSF Pays Courtesy Visit to the Patron, Provost of Osun State College of Health Technology |adekkatv

Earlier today, December 5th, 2024 the Osun State Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum (YMLSF), in the esteemed company of the YMLSF National President MLS Jegede Suleiman O. paid a courtesy visit to our highly distinguished Patron, the Provost of Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesha, at his office.  


The visit was a testament to the Forum’s commitment to fostering impactful collaborations and strengthening professional relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare and education. The Provost, a visionary leader and tireless advocate for quality healthcare training, lauded the Forum for its dedication to advancing Medical Laboratory Science and empowering the next generation of professionals.

Accompanied by a robust team of committed young professionals, the delegation represented the future of Medical Laboratory Science with confidence and purpose. The lineup of national and state YMLSF leaders included:

During the interactive session, discussions revolved around innovative strategies to enhance capacity building, promote professional excellence, and align the goals of the Forum with the global standards of Medical Laboratory Practice. The Provost, impressed by the Forum’s remarkable achievements, reiterated his unwavering support and encouraged members to continue setting the pace for others to follow.  


The YMLSF delegation, on their part, expressed profound appreciation for the Provost’s mentorship, generosity, and commitment to excellence, pledging to uphold the values of the profession and leverage this partnership to achieve even greater milestones.  


This visit serves as a significant milestone in the Forum’s journey toward transforming healthcare education and professional practice in Nigeria and beyond.

  By Bolarinwa Kabir The Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31 and Tuesday April 1 public holidays for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior,  made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government. He congratulated Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
