Breaking: Osun State Government and Organized Labour signs 75, 554 Naira as New Minimum wage | adekkatv

The Osun State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved December 2024 as the implementation date for the new minimum wage of N75,554 earlier approved, with a payment of 1 month arrears to the state public servants. 


In addition, the sum of #25,000 has been approved across board for the pensioners in Osun State. 


The signing of the implementation of the minimum wage has just been completed by the combined team of the state government and the state labor leaders.

The Minimum wage table to this effect is now available.


Recall that, Kolapo Alimi, the commissioner for Information announced the New minimum wage last week which was promised to take immediate effect.

Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior,  made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government. He congratulated Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. Tunji-Ojo urged all Muslims to embrace the virtues of self-discipline, compassion, generosity and peace, emphasising the importance of love, forgiveness, and solidarity in building a harmonious society. Breaking: Governor Adeleke orders newly sworn-in chairmen, councillors to stay away from LG secretariats | adekkatv

By Bolarinwa Kabir  Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State has directed the newly elected local government chairmen to stay away from local government council secretariats in order to avoid a breakdown of law and order in the state. Governor Adeleke also charged the officials to work within the manifesto of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, noting that his administration is transforming the state for the better. The governor issued the directives while administering the oath of allegiance and oath of office on the 30 local government chairmen and vice-chairmen at the Osun State Government House on Sunday (today).
